Fat from the side. Growing up my mom had a plethora of nicknames for my fat rolls and seeing myself from the side terrified me. These days, I know that accepting your body means all of it, from every angle.
It took me a really long time to submit this picture. I am in a moment in my life where I am the most accepting of my body, and still, it took me months to submit. I think that it goes to show that, for me, body acceptance is a journey, sometimes you get lost, but trust your gut instinct and the path is clear again.
